Enrique Cabrera is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist originally from Veracruz, Mexico. He is a sculptor and professional photographic restorer dedicated to promoting the Mexican culture further than its frontiers. He has ventured into the visual arts, sculpture restoration, music, and photography; in his 20-year career, he has been recognized and awarded nationally and internationally, thanks to his talent.
Cabrera has done several artistic restorations in different parts of the world in collaboration with CENIDIAP (National Center of Investigation in Fine Arts) and INBA (National Institute of Fine Arts). He was chosen by the Government of Mexico in 2010 and France in 2009 to restore some of the most important sculptural works making use of ancient restoration techniques in previously completed works, which helped to keep them current and in good condition.
Museums and exhibitions in the main cities of the world are witnesses of his works and his iconic Palmarius that has traveled to more than 28 countries. His interest to promote Mexico as a cultural power has made Enrique Cabrera develop work alliances for the benefit of those most in need, for example, the Scholas Ocurrentes foundations of Pope Francis, the Ricky Martín, and Eva Longoria Foundation, Les Couleurs Charity, UNICEF, and amfAR, among others.
